Doctor of philological sciences, professor K. Abdezuly awarded the title «Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan». In 2011, Doctor of historical sciences, professor K.T. Zhumagulov was 6-time winner of the grant DAAD and was elected a member of the Association for the Study of French personality of Attila.

Grand Prix of the creative competition among journalists, "Islam and Peace", dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Independence of RK, has become the candidate of economical sciences, associate professor Bekbolatuly J. Badge for special contribution to the development of culture «The cultural worker» was awarded candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Salkynbaev M.B.

In 2011, young scientists of Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology Erezhepov D.A., Choi A., Umbaev B.A. became the winners of republican competition of the Fund of the First President of RK.
