«Day of the geodesist and the cartographer» has coincided with «Day of the cartographer» which has had this year on the second Sunday of March. By this day teachers of chair have organized a solemn congratulation of students in a hostel on March, 14 at 18.00. Gifts have been handed over, rooms of students are visited and various games are organized. Also, photo- and video shootings under heading «Student's life» have been spent. According to plans of organizers, various gifts to students which have proved from the good party were solemnly handed over, thus, cleanliness of rooms also was estimated.

Student's Spring

On November 26th,  2011 at the Department of Rrecreational geography and Tourism  of Faculty of geography and Nature Management were held advisor  evening devoted to 20th Anniversary of the Independence Day of Kazakhstan Republic  named  "Years of Independence - bright pages of national history", under the direction of the  advisors  students of 2nd year study of  the Department of recreational geography and Tourism. In this event  students and teachers of the Faculty of Geography and Nature management take participate. 

The aim of the evening is a awaken in  students a sense of patriotizm, love for their  native land, and to show significant events in our history. 

The student of 2nd year study of Department of Recreational geography and Tourism thoroughly prepared for this event. The evening began with the greeting words of the teachers and students of the faculty. During the event, students were asked questions from the history of independent of Kazakhstan. Students demonstrated their skills with various parties.  Students demonstrated their ability to work as a team and their  Love to own country
