KazNU – is a city of students. Young people from all regions of the country study here. More than 5,000 students live in 14 comfortable, corresponding all modern requirements hostels of KazGuCity a total area of 81,000 square meters. The warm atmosphere and home coziness are waiting for you in every hostel.
In order to resolve the whole spectrum of problems students living in hostels, there is a special body of the student government - the Supreme Council of the student hostels, which organizes activities and the process of settling students.
In KazNU hostels and campuses operates a wirelessnetwork access to the Internet WI-FI.The campus operates facility for high-grade education andleisure: beautiful sports centerwith a gym, sports fields and sections Students Service Center “ Keremet “with all the educational,welfare, health, shopping and entertainment servicesfor students, private cinema, a net of readingrooms, a powerful library thatprovides students with the necessary educational literature, internet café on 300 seats.
Distinctive features of KazNU hostels are comfort, safety and all the conditions for residence. Students live in two and four- bed rooms. In hostels there areall conditions for living, learning and leisure. Much attention is paid on creating conditions for employment and recreation. Hostels are equipped with readingrooms, computer classes are also created for studying. Conference rooms are designed for various events. The hostel has grocery stress, cafeterias, severalbuffets, terminals to recharge phones, copy centers. Around the hostel there are equipped sports and entertainment venues, football field.
Hostels are equipped with surveillance cameras. The recording is done on each floor and is controlled by guards. At the entrances to the hostel residents pass through electronic badge. From 23.00 h . to 6.00 h the security is on duty on the territory of hostels. The University is committed to providing a place in a hostel for everybody.
