The preparatory faculty for foreign citizens has already been working functioning at the Kazakh National University for 20 years. More than 2500 students from 83 countries of the world have studied Kazakh and Russian including USA, Europe, Canada, Africa and South America.
If you want to study Kazakh or Russian language at our faculty you will have an opportunity to study in a one year or three year programs. This faculty realizes language preparation for entering the Higher Education Establishment.
During the academic year listener will be able to get the basic grammar of Kazakh or Russian language, learning the following courses: practical Kazakh or Russian language speaking, Kazakh or Russian literature, culture, history of Kazakhstan as well.
Listeners of the second and third year can listen "The language of newspaper, radio, TV", "Scientific style of speaking", "The language of fiction", "Practical Kazakh or Russian language of advanced degree of study". Final year students of faculty will be able to use Kazakh or Russian language as a resource of communication in social cultural and professional spheres.
The Listeners of the faculty often leave on excursions on city, on Medeo, Chimbulak, Charyn visit the theaters and museum, participate in miscellaneous action university and faculty. The Listeners of the faculty will deliver the exams biannual and on result exam get the certificate state sample, which enables to enter in universities of the republic and can be given on place requirement, on functioning as required.
There are 6-8 students in each group. Technical resources are used at lessons, also there is a language laboratory.
Listeners of faculty pass exams twice a year and take certificate of national sample which gives opportunity to enter the University to enter the Universities of Republic.
They give a place for students in a comfortable campus.
