MOSCOW. KAZINFORM - Today the signing ceremony of collaboration Agreement was held in Moscow between Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi (KazNU) and Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov (MSU).

The signatures on documents are put by rectors of universities Galimkair Mutanov and Viktor Sadovnichiy.

An agreement is expressed so as students and faculty members exchange, mutual scientific internships, development and realization of joint educational programs, organizations of academic meetings, symposiums and schools of science, joint exploratory activity, etc.

Rector of KazNU emphasized: «Signing an agreement allows cooperatively find answers to many scientific questions, which appear due to the Eurasian Economic Union functioning».

He pointed out that based on the results of September research of authoritative international QS rating agency (Great Britain) three CIS universities join the top-300 world's best universities: MSU, SPSU and KazNU.

In its turn, rector of MSU emphasized that the cooperation with Kazakhstani colleagues is longstanding and counts for decades.

V. Sadovnichiy said: «We have a lot in common, we are friends, partners. KazNU graduates studied at MSU graduate school and vice versa - MSU graduates continue their education in KazNU graduate school. It is symbolic that the signing occurred in Tatiana Day - MSU's birthday. I hope the new agreement will provide a strong spark to our cooperation».
