On 28th October 2015a a round table discussion on "Key priorities of socio-economic and environmental development of the country in the context of global challenges", dedicated to the preliminary results of research conducted by the grants of MES of RK had taken place in the Higher School of Economics and Business.

The purpose of the round table was to discuss of the priorities of socio-economic and environmental modernization of the national economy in a turbulent external environment, which based on the preliminary research scientists of Higher School of Economics and Business.

The Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business Ermekbayeva B. Zh. had opened the round table The following leaders of the scientific projects presented the results of their researchs: Sagiyeva R.K. - CER Director, doctor of Economics, acting Professor; Mukhamediyev B. M. - doctor of Economics Sciences, Professor; Mukhtarova K. S. doctor of Economics Sciences, Professor; Sansyzbaeva H. N. - doctor of economic Sciences, Professor; Tulegenova M. S. - doctor of Economics sciences, Professor; Djumabaev S. K. - candidate of economic Sciences, associate Professor; Dulambaeva R. T. - doctor of Economics Sciences, acting Professor; Sadyhanova G. A. - candidate of Economics sciences, associate Professor; Bordoussov O. V. - candidate of economic Sciences, acting associate Professor; Zeynollah S. - PhD.

The main issues discussed on the round table:

-Modeling the interdependence of macroeconomic indicators of countries-trade partners;

- Innovative technologies in local public administration and self-government in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- Public administration in agriculture;

- Institute of labor relations in the system of technological changes;

- The manifestation of the precarization of employment in Kazakhstan;

- Theoretical and methodological foundations for studying problems of competitiveness of national economy in conditions of industrial-innovative development;

- Study of the boundaries of application of the measure of research intensity;

- Theoretical basis of using the concept of open innovation;

- Methodological approaches to the estimation of total factor productivity;

- Benchmarking and energy efficiency indicators in the transition of Kazakhstan to green economy.
