Essay of Aktoty Muhambetkalieva, the 3rd year student of the Department of Middle Eastern Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies was included in the top ten in the essay contest on the theme “Tackling climate change: reasons for global involvement and importance of my role”.

This contest was organized by the British Embassy in Kazakhstan and the Delegation of the European Union to Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Embassy of Belgium, Germany, Spain and France on the threshold of the UN International Conference on Climate, to be held in Paris this year, and in accordance with the Action Plan of the European Union in the field of climate diplomacy.

The winners received valuable gifts, and become heroes of the TV program “Green Economy”.
