Students of the Faculty "Geography and Nature Management" took an active part in environmental action in conjunction with akimat of Almaty and Kazecology organization which was on November 3, 2011. This action was part of the program "We are for a clean city". The objects of treatment at this time were the banks of rivers: the Big and Small Almatinka, Esentai with the slogan "Clean rivers, clean the floodplain". As pointed out in her interview to "TAN" channel Zhaniya Dulatkyzy (the 1st year student of the department Energy and Ecology) that such measures are necessary for environmental education of young people, which is paid serious attention at university. After the end of treatment works there was organized a lottery among the students, where the luckiest ones won cell phones and flash cards.
