During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Tashkent State University of Economics. The purpose of this memorandum is to develop academic and cultural exchange, cooperation between universities in the field of education, and research work between TSEU and KazNU.

Rector Zhanseit Konseituly spoke of fruitful cooperation between KazNU and institutions of higher education in Uzbekistan. In addition, the rector stressed that the partnership will open new horizons of opportunities and give impetus to the deepening of mutually beneficial relations between the universities.

In turn, Mukhitdin Kalonov supported Zhanseit Tuimebayev and voiced the main directions of interaction. 

"Within the framework of the signed memorandum we can exchange students, and teachers, conduct joint scientific research, educational and cultural events, and exchange experiences. I hope that cooperation between our universities will be a contribution to the development of education and science of the two countries," said the Vice-Rector of TSEU.
