Admission to Doctoral Studies is Ongoing

The issues related to the admission of students to Master’s and Doctoral programs have been discussed at the regular meeting of the rectorate of Al-Farabi KazNU. Askar Khikmetov, Vice Rector for Educational Work, has reported on the organization of work on the admission of students to educational programs of doctoral studies.
The Vice-Rector spoke in detail about the procedure for conducting a comprehensive testing of applicants for state educational grants and the mechanism for receiving applications submitted online. Admission of applicants for testing will be carried out through the information system of identification Face ID, developed by the STC of MES RK. It will be possible to submit online appeal in case of disagreement with the results of testing within 30 minutes after its completion. Electronic certificates with the result will be sent to Universities.
«This year 427 grants has been allocated for KazNU. Significant parts of them are technical and natural science specialties. Documents are accepted from July 3 to August 3. At present, just over a hundred applications have been submitted through the University’s online system», said the Vice-Rector.
It should be noted that Kazakhstani and foreign citizens can apply for a doctoral study at KazNU in online format on the website www.kaznu.kz in the section «Information for applicants».
