An educational event entitled «Infectious Diseases» was held at the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Compounds, Natural Compounds, and Polymers of Al-Farabi KazNU.

Teachers and students of S. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, candidates of medical sciences, associate professors K.A. Umeshova and A.T. Zhumabekova, as well as students of the Kazakh-Russian Medical University were invited to a meeting with students.

Students of S. Asfendiyarov KazNMU  participated in a quiz on infectious diseases and tuberculosis. Students of the Kazakh-Russian Medical University shared interesting materials. Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professors K.A. Umeshova and A.T. Zhumabekova made presentations on relevant topics on the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases.
