Participants of the First Anti-Corruption Forum «Adaldyk Alany», which was held in Almaty, visited KazNU and got acquainted with the experience of anti-corruption work of the country’s leading University. 

The large-scale Forum brought together representatives of the territorial anti-corruption Departments and the Heads of the «Adaldyk Alany» special monitoring groups. As part of the event, a campus tour was organized at Al-Farabi KazNU to familiarize guests with scientific and innovative achievements and anti-corruption projects of KazNU.

The delegation visited the University Museum and the Center for Situation Management (CSM), which collects and analyzes information to control and monitor current activities, and operational decision-making. The innovation center made a great impression on the members of the delegation.

«I have imagined the scale of a leading University of the country, but the CSM exceeded all my expectations», - said Erasyl Tolebaev, Head of the «Adaldyk Alany» project office in Shymkent. «This is a qualitatively new, highest technical level, which allows to control the vast territory of the University, instantly respond to the slightest changes».

Further, the campus tour participants visited a cluster of business competencies, which includes such centers as Islamic finance; Entrepreneurship and Finance; Exchange Technologies; MBA and DBA. These centers cooperate with the National Bank, AIFC «Astana» and foreign partners in the field of finance and exchange trading.

In the Al-Farabi library, the guests got highly interested in the exhibition of the Museum, dedicated to the heritage of the great scientist and thinker. They also visited the «Keremet» Student Service Center, which provides more than 500 services on «one-window» basis.

«I am very impressed with the excursion», - said Elena Berezinskaya-Abilova, Head of the «Shygys Adaldygy» project office, Chairman of the Regional Council of Business Women of NPP «Atameken» on East Kazakhstan Oblast. - I am glad for the opportunity to get acquainted with the leading University of the Republic. The level of technical equipment, teaching staff, educational process, and scientific potential of KazNU is very high. The University has gone decades forward, starting with the introduction of IT technologies and equipping conference rooms, ending with conditions created for students».

The campus tour has ended with a visit to the project office «Adaldyk Alany» and «Sanaly Urpak» located in KazNU. «The eradication of corruption in the educational system, the formation of an anti-corruption culture and worldview among the younger generation is a big goal of our work», - said Kaiyrzhan Tokushev, Head of the «Sanaly Urpak» Republican project office. As part of our project, we work with all educational institutions, starting from kindergartens, schools and ending with universities. A case in point is the «School of Integrity», which we opened at the Law Faculty of KazNU. The activities of the «Sanaly Urpak» club, in which thousands of students take part, are aimed at educating young people in the spirit of the main moral and ethical norms and values».
