Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi KazNU held a meeting with leading universities in Poland with the participation of the Vice-Rector for Commercialization and Internationalization Mehmet Arslan. On the Polish side, the initiative to expand cooperation was supported by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA.

During the meeting, chief specialist of NAWA Andrzej Stuczynski presented information on various international projects, grants and scholarships of the agency for researchers, and also spoke about the features of the Polish higher education system.

University representatives located in cities such as Warsaw, Krakow, Lublin and Wroclaw shared information on educational programs in English, and expressed their willingness to cooperate in a number of areas. Issues of academic mobility, conducting joint research and the organization of summer schools for master students were also considered.
