Al-Farabi Kazakh National University remains the leader among all the HEI's in county in the number of educational grants received. More than 5.7 thousand of the best school graduates have chosen KazNU this year and received a state educational grant, a significant part of them are holders of  «Altyn Belgi», winners of international and republican competitions.

KazNU is significantly ahead of other higher education institutions in the number of grants. A deliberate choice of applicants for the best university in the country to receive a quality education indicates high trust in the University.

KazNU is one of the top 210 best universities in the world and is an advanced center of education, science and innovation. Here, in partnership with leading universities of the world, 70 programs of double diploma education are being implemented, English language instruction is being actively introduced, and new specialties in demand in the future are being opened.

Applicants showed particular interest in such new educational programs of the University as: actuarial mathematics, nanotechnology, geoecology, Internet of things and Big Data, cyberphysics, robotic systems, pharmaceutical business technology, etc. This year, applicants have to have UNT results no less than 100 points to enter KazNU. This decision was made in connection with a large number of people wishing to get an education at a leading University in the country.

The number of foreign students entering the University has also significantly increased, which indicates the high competitiveness of KazNU in the global educational space.
