ELDOS SMETOV WINS GOLD IN BUDAPEST

Graduate of Al-Farabi KazNU, a silver medalist of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Eldos Smetov has won the Grand Prix in Judo in Budapest.
In the weight category up to 60 kg, he has met with a rival from Mongolia, scoring a clear victory. In the semifinals, Smetov turned out to be stronger than athlete from the Netherlands Tornik Tsakadoe.
About 550 judo wrestlers and 82 countries of the world took part in the Hungarian competitions.
