Young scientists of the KazNU took part in the meeting with Prime Minister

On December 21 this year, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with young scientists of scientific organizations and higher educational institutions.

During the conversation, the participants exchanged views on the current state of science development in Kazakhstan and on prospects for the future. The issues of development of science management system and doctoral programs, equipping higher educational institutions with modern equipment, improving the system of awarding a degree were discussed.

Director of the scientific and technological Park of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, PhD Amirkhan Temirbaev and Head of the Center of physical and chemical methods of analysis of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, candidate of chemical sciences, Professor Bolat Kenessov attended the meeting.

Bolat Kenessov, during his speech, focused on the issues of University science, which is very effective by attracting students who are actively engaged in scientific research. Also, he proposed to equip leading universities with modern equipment, to increase PhD-doctoral student’s scholarship up to 150 thousand tenge, to introduce a national program for doctoral graduates.
