Meeting of representatives of the Astana International Financial Center

September 28, 2018 in the Library of Al-Farabi KazNU, on the basis of the Higher School of Economics and Business, a meeting of the representatives of the Astana International Financial Center with the students of graduate courses and the faculty of the university was held in the framework of cooperation between the AIFC and KazNU.
The key directions of development of professional growth of specialists in Kazakhstan and issues of personnel potential in the sphere of Islamic finance, Islamic economy, "green" finance and financial technologies were discussed. 
In discussion teachers of the Higher school of Economy and Business and representatives of the AIFC took part. Yernur Rysmagambetov, Managing Director, AIFC Board Member, Professor Alexander Van de Put, Chairman of the Academic Council of the AIFC, Elmira Seidazimova, Head of the Media Center of the Bureau, delivered speeches. 
In his opening speech, the Pro-rector for Academic Affairs, al-Farabi KazNU Askar Hikmetov noted that the training of highly qualified specialists for our economy, in particular the financial sector, is one of the main factors of economic growth. He noted the start of the work of the scientific and educational center of Islamic Finance in cooperation with KazNU and AIFC for the training of highly qualified specialist  in Islamic finance and retraining of specialists. 
According to the managing director of IFAC, Yernur Rysmagambetov, the Bureau of Continuing Professional Development at the International Finance Center Astana (IFAC) prepares professionals for the future and a positive experience in the development of financial centers in Eastern Europe and Singapore, where the development of human capital has been a key factor in the development of the financial sector; added that the development of financial technology will help create an innovation environment not only in the financial sector, but in aggregate in all industries.
Yernur Rysmagambetov also noted that this year AIFC will hold the Investor Week for the second time, with other 80 countries of the world, which will take place in early October and this meeting with students and undergraduates of KazNU took place on the eve of such a significant event. 
Professor Alexander van de Put described the main purpose of the meeting, which is to provide an opportunity for students to attend a paid internship at the AIFC subsequently, 200 international organizations, partners of the AIFC. Students and graduate students have the opportunity to participate in the selection of applicants from October 15 to March 22.
Elmira Seidazimova, the head of the media center of the Bureau of the AIFC, noted the high rating and position of KazNU, which is leading not only in the country, but also in the region, congratulated 220th place in the world QS rating. She also noted that with the changing demands of the world labor market, there is a need for constant growth and continuous training.
As a result, key areas of AIFC cooperation and participation in the formation of educational programs were identified, the active work of the Islamic Finance Center on the basis of the KazNU, the preparation of teachers for the trainer to trainer program and cooperation in providing students with internships in international organizations.
