From May 15 to May 19 in Shymkent badminton competitions for the team Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan among men were organized by the Committee for Sport and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In this competition Team Dmitry Malikov, a fourth-year student of the Department of Mechanics of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, took the III place. The winners received a diploma and valuable prizes.
