Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University became one of the best in the Competition of the National Tourism Organization of Korea in Almaty.
Representation of the National Tourism Organization of Korea in Almaty announced the contest "Our plan for an ideal trip to South Korea". The task of the contest is to develop your plan for an ideal trip through Korea.
Students of the 3rd course of the of the Korean Studies Akhan Mira and Ulan Rosa passed the qualification round. The final of the contest was held on April 14, 2018 at the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP), where they won the second place among ten teams of universities in Almaty. The key criteria for assessing the work were the originality of the idea and the integrity.

This kind of competition was organized for the first time. Representation of the National Tourism Organization of Korea in Almaty is a regular partner of the Department of the Korean Studies. Moreover, the graduates of the Korean Studies Department are staff members of this organization and make a worthy contribution to the development of relations between South Korea and Kazakhstan in the field of tourism.
