Mini-model UN «New Silk Way»

The UN Assistance Center at the Faculty of International Relations of al-Farabi KazNU, Model UN "New Silk Way" program with the assistance of the United Nations Department of Public Information in Almaty are pleased to invite you to participate in mini-model UN organized in the framework of presidency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the UN Security Council.

This mini-model is aimed to increase the awareness of young people about the format of the work of the UN, the problems of the modern world, as well as about the international activities of our republic. Moreover, forthcoming model UN will allow to develop analytical, diplomatic, oratorical and communication skills.

The Mini-model UN conference will be presented by two committees:

- Security Council: New Approaches Towards the Problem of Non-Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction.

- The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights: Measures and Mechanisms to Enhance Equality and Counter Discrimination towards the SDGs achievement.

 During the discussions, the participants will have the opportunity to speak as the representatives of delegations of different countries, united together to solve pressing global problems.
