Great start

In the article of the Republic of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev "A look into the future: modernization of public consciousness" of April 12, 2017, was set the global task – to become a competitive nation.

The article notes that "the peculiarity of the future is not in the availability of mineral resources, but in the competitiveness of a person, that becomes a factor in the success of a nation. Therefore, any Kazakhstan citizen, and the whole nation itself, must have a set of qualities worthy of the XXI century. Among the unconditional prerequisites for this are factors such as computer literacy, knowledge of foreign languages, cultural openness".

In order to implement the large-scale idea of the Leader of the Nation on the upbringing of the Kazakhstan competitive personality, on the initiative of Associate Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Professor Bayan Doldasbekova, Head of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature and Assistant Professor Oksana Alexandrova, the head of the postgraduate department of the philological faculty of the Peoples Friendship University of Russia (PFUR) put forward idea of the training of highly qualified personnel between universities. As a result of painstaking preliminary work, an agreement was signed between the universities on the joint form of the educational program within the PhD program in the specialty "6D011800 - Russian Language and Literature" and the postgraduate course "Russian Language" in the direction of "Linguistics and Literary Studies". The contract was signed by the first pro-rector of KazNU named after al-Farabi Mukhambetkali Burkitbaev and the first vice-chancellor of the Russian People's Friendship University Nur Kyrabayeva. We should note that the agreement on joint training of personnel of this qualification at the Faculty of Philology and World Languages KazNU named by al-Farabi entered into such kind of contract for the first time.

Both sides actively participated in the work on the document. Significant participation and all-round assistance from the headquarters of KazNU represented by the pro-rector for scientific and innovative activities Tlekkabul Ramazanov, the pro-rector for academic affairs Askar Hikmetov and the director of the department on academic issues Tansulu Mukhitdinova ensured the successful preparation and implementation of the new joint two-diploma educational program.

For doctoral students have been developed individual educational trajectories. For the role of coordinator of the program was appointed deputy head of the department of Russian philology and world literature on educational and methodical and educational work of Zhadyra Bayanbayeva.

As a consequent result of the contract, two graduates of KazNU – Ruslanbek Shanaev ("Russian Literature") and Zhenis Nuraiym ("Russian Language") successfully passed the entrance examinations to the PFUR postgraduate PhD and doctoral PhD programы and were enrolled for a two-diploma program.

The uniqueness of the program is the fact, that when educational program will be successfully completed, PhD graduate students will receive two diplomas: the Russian Federation academic title of Candidate of Philological Sciences and a post-graduate diploma with the qualification "Researcher. Teacher-researcher" in the direction of 45.06.01 "Linguistics and Literary Studies ", as well as a diploma on the completion of PhD program with the degree "PhD Doctor" of the specialty "Russian language and literature".
