The best scientists were awarded in Almaty

Annual Springer Nature Awards Ceremony took place in Almaty, al-Farabi KazNU was awarded the title "the Most published organization" in the Central Asian countries.

Al-Farabi KazNU is the most published organization in one of the largest publishers in the world – Springer Nature for the second consecutive year. This fact once again demonstrates the high recognition by the international scientific community carried out by scientists of University studies.

One of the development priorities of KazNU is the integration into the international scientific space, to familiarize international community with achievements of the research work of Kazakh scientists.

During the Ceremony Awards Springer Nature were noted scientists of University in the nomination "the Most published authors": the winner in the nomination Springer Nature "the Top of the most published scientists of Kazakhstan in the field of biological Sciences and Biomedicine" became the doctor of biological Sciences, Professor, corresponding member of NAS RK, Dean of the faculty of biology and biotechnology Bolatkhan Zayadan, in the nomination "Physical Scien" was awarded Professor of the Chair of physical chemistry, catalysis and petrochemistry Zhaksyntay Kairbekov, as well as in the category of "Technology" was awarded the Director of Institute of problems of burning Zulhair Mansurov.

Springer Nature is the world's largest international scientific publishing house, which has existed since 1842. In 2015, the German publishing group Springer has signed a deal for the inclusion of the publisher Macmillan, after which the group was renamed Springer Nature. Currently, the group publishes more than 3150 magazines, the most famous of which is the journal Nature.
