An educational event from the Department of General and Applied Psychology in the form of a seminar within the project "Aynalandy nurlandyr" on "Military Psychology: Features and Prospects", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held on February 28, 2017 at the military department of al-Farabi Kazakh National University for students in the specialty "Organization of psychological work," students at the military department.

The organizer and moderator of the seminar was acting Professor of the Department of General and Applied Psychology Maira Kabakova.

The speakers were 3rd year students of "Psychology" speciality of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Active participation in the discussion of the proposed topics and practical recommendations for the development of military psychology in the Republic of Kazakhstan was attended by Deputy Chief of the military department, Colonel M.Toekin, Chief of counsel and military-investigative work cycle, Colonel R.Krykpaev, senior lecturer, corresponding member of the Academy of Military Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ph.D., retired colonel K.Kibataev, teacher lieutenant colonel E.Ugodenko.

The Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science N.Algozhaeva summarized the results of the seminar and expressed gratitude to the leaders of the military department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University for their active participation and assistance in organizing this important event.
