TURKSOY AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS

About 2 years ago on the initiative of the rector of Kazakh National University Department of TURKSOY was opened at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. Recently, the best students of the department have been awarded a special scholarship of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), which has become a good tradition. 

General Secretary of the International Organization TURKSOY Dusen Korabaevich Kaseinov handed students studies on specialties "Turkology", "Foreign philology: Turkish language", "Translation Studies" scholarship for the purpose of social support. Eight active and the best students of the department of TURKSOY received a scholarship in the amount of 100 000 (one hundred thousand). 

Speaking at the meeting, General Secretary of the International Organization TURKSOY Dusen Korabaevich Kaseinov congratulated leadership of the Kazakh National University of al-Farabi the achievements at the international level in the field of education and science, and expressed confidence in further development of cooperation between the organization and the university.

At the end of the meeting, rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Mutanov Galymkayir thanked leadership of the organization TURKSOY for their support the students.
