Founded in 1934, the first in Kazakhstan Physics and Mathematics KSU became a cradle of education and one of the national centers of education and science. This historic mission is relevant to the faculty now too. The Faculty with honor has gone through all the trials and remains one of the leading centers of research and training specialists in mathematics, mechanics and computer science in the country.
The faculty has constantly been evolving. In recent years there has been a steady growth in student amount. The number of research programs increases, new courses on the most pressing areas of training are established, the material base of the Faculty is expanding. Students get a fundamental education and immerse in research the fields of modern mathematics, mechanics and informatics in chosen by them.
Achievements of the Faculty today have become possible thanks to the enthusiasm and creativity generations of the scientists, who had worked and work today at the Faculty . A special words deserves of respect our Faculty veteran G.N. Bagautdinov who meticulously restored many of the facts faculty of the history.
The staff of Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty has great plans to improve the teaching/learning process and further to improve the efficiency of scientific research in accordance with the requirements of the time. The faculty has the potential enough to successfully implement its plans. We believe that the first in Kazakhstan the Faculty Mechanics and Mathematics will hold high its banner and will always be the first - in the hearts of students, alumni, faculty and staff.
Training
