National Olympiad of the Chinese language of KazNU named after Al-Farabi,
Faculty of Oriental Studies
In order to enhance the language development of students studying Chinese language, to awaken interest and activity to learn, the Chinese department of Oriental Study faculty, Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi in conjunction with the Confucius Institute at the execution of Al-Farabi, On 30-th of March, this year holds a competition on the Chinese language among the students of high educational establishments. In this Olympiad of Chinese language may participate, students who studying Chinese Language on the higher education establishment. Olympiad consists of 3 rounds: 1st round (qualifying) - the place of study - up to 20 March Higher education institutions, which are Chinese, through the internal selection to identify the participants (4-5 people from each university) at the Olympiad II - III tour. Those interested from other regions of Kazakhstan may send their works via e-mail. The participants must be ready to make a composition written in a free theme in the volume of 1000-1200 characters. Winners (1-6 places) will receive valuable gifts and diplomas.
