Having fun is great!
Having fun is great! Having fun together is even better! On the 4th of December Korean Studies Department celebrated newcomers. This event became tradition. Informal atmosphere is special feature of such “parties”: smiles, fun, jokes.
But nobody cancelled an official part, therefore organizers have decided to begin with pleasant congratulations on the third place of faculty of Oriental studies in competition on a rank «the Best faculty Treasury of al-Farabi». The chair Korean Studies Department of has brought the considerable contribution to this achievement. The rector KazNU of al-Farabi, the academician, Zhumagulov B.T. has noticed that our faculty is «the youngest and ambitious».
In the beginning the Head of our Department Yem N. B has told what means to be the student of Korean Department . Then undergraduates got acquainted with first-year students. All it has been presented by colorful presentations, verses, the Korean national songs, dances. Newcomers prove to be confident student. And in the end they have sworn to study well, confirming with excellent points.
