contest on Chinese painting
December 1, 2009 Sinology Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies KazNU named after al-Farabi, under the leadership of the Division of languages development in the auditorium of Mechanics and Mathematics Department held a contest on Chinese painting, the students in higher educational institutions in Almaty on 60-year anniversary of the PRC. Competition under the following sections: vocals, dance, visual arts and drama. The competition was attended by all students wishing Sinologists following educational institutions: Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Faculty of Oriental Studies, Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, AGPU named after Abaya, The Kazakh University of International Relation and World Languages named after Abylai Khan, Institute of Foreign Languages and business career, the University of Tours, the Kazakh-Chinese College, "Yerke-Nur". Total attended by some 50 participants into four sections. Major prizes took the students of the Military Institute and KazNU named after Al-Farabi.
The competition also among the guests were the Consul of China in Kazakhstan on Culture and Education Cui Ying Lan, director of the Confucius Institute at the execution Asylbekov R. O. The jury were invited lecturer of the Kazakh Academy of Arts. T. Zhurgenov Kyzyrkhankyzy Kabira, teachers of the Confucius Institute at the execution of Zhang Jian Fang, Hu Ya Nan , editor of the magazine of "Кorshi" (neighbor) Ibrahim Fayzulla.
