Kalkabayeva Salima Abdramanovna was awarded the medal "Honored Teacher of Kazakhstan".

Candidate of philological sciences Soltanaeva Erkinul Molotovna became the holder of the title "The best teacher of the university - 2017". The awarding ceremony was held on February 9, 2018.

Students-undergraduates of the Department of Kazakh literature and theory of literature took part in the III international student Olympiad in Ukraine and returned with prizes.

2-3 year students of the specialty "Kazakh language and literature" returned from the prizes for the project "Best international research work" in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Students of 2-3 courses of specialty "Kazakh language and literature" of the Department of Kazakh literature and theory of literature 17-18 January 2018 won prizes in international competitions (Ukraine).

Omirkhan Abdimanuly was awarded the jubilee medal "Қазақ энциклопедиясына - 50 жыл" for his outstanding contribution to the development of the book industry, the formation of science and book culture in honor of the 50th anniversary of the "Kazakh Encyclopedia."

By decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated on December 5, 2017, Imahanbet Raikhan Sakhybekkyzy was awarded the medal "Yeren enbegi ushіn".
