    The “English talking club” was founded for all students from Kazakhstan and abroad (national and international level) who want to improve their English. According to the plan, club meetings are held monthly on the ZOOM conference platform. The results of the meeting of the club are monthly reported on the website of the faculty, department and social networks such as facebook and instagram (student_of_kaznu). The members of the club are the students of the Faculty of Information Technologies of KazNU, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (Kyrgyzstan) and students of KazNPU named after Abai (Kazakhstan).

The goal of the club is to form the communicative competence of a foreign language, support and improve existing knowledge and speech skills, which will allow the usage of English as a tool for professional and interpersonal communication.

German-speaking club: Deutsch im Herzen: 

For more than 10 years, the German Club "Deutsch im Herzen" has been existing at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages, the head of which is, Zhirenshina K.A., senior teacher. The German language club is a club where conditions for communication in German are created. The club has its own emblem. The permanent membership of the club includes 1-2 year students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology and the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management, for whom German is the second foreign language. All these students are united by their interest in the country of German language, its history and culture.

       Club activities allow students to show their creative activity, to reveal their cognitive skills in the process of teaching the German language. Participants discuss topics that interest them, for example, studying in Germany, contemporary music and films, as well as social topics such as healthcare and the environment, the education system, the life of German youth, etc. This work not only deepens and expands the students’ language   knowledge, but also contributes to the expansion of their cultural horizons and erudition and develop their creative skills. Due to club activities students enrich their spiritual world which increases the motivation to study the language and culture of another country. Club members also take part in events organized by the Goethe Institute in Almaty.

The members of the club are the students of the Faculty of Mechanical Mathematics of KazNU and students of national and international level in social networks, on the club's website.

The goal of the club is to form a foreign language communicative competence, support and improve existing knowledge and conversational skills that allow you to use English as a means of professional and interpersonal communication and implement a personality-oriented approach in teaching English.

Club tasks:

-       create conditions for raising the awareness of students about the countries of the studied language;

-       show the role of English-speaking countries, their culture and economy, as well as the importance of a foreign language in the dialogue of cultures;

-       to enrich the active vocabulary of students with the necessary supply of special terms and concepts related to the topics of the study circle;

-       to form speech skills that provide the cognitive and communicative needs of students;

-       develop the ability to collect, systematize regional geographic information;

-       development of skills to analyze and compare information and facts of native and foreign culture, to consider them in the context of their future profession.

The “English time” club was founded for students of al-Farabi Kazakh National university. The members of the club are the students of the faculty of Information technologies. Club meetings are held monthly on the ZOOM and MS TEAMS platforms according to the plan. The reports of the meetings of the club are reported on the website of the faculty of Philology and foreign languages. 

The “English time” club is formed to create a friendly language environment, motivate students and improve knowledge of English language. Club lets learners practice English in real-life situations. Conversation club focuses on different topics that enable students to expand their vocabulary and improve speaking skills.

The goal of the club is to promote moral education and the formation of aesthetic taste among university students.
