April 10, within the framework of the V International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Farabi Alemi" at the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre KazNU. Al-Farabi held a round table on the theme "The influence of geopolitical factors on the socio-economic development of the Kazakhstan section of the new economic belt of the Silk Road (ESRP)." The organizers of the event were: Doctor of Geological Sciences, prof. Nyusupova GN, Doctor of Economics, prof. Nadyrov Sh.M., PhD, art. teacher Sarsenova IB, art. teacher Zulpyharov Қ.Б.At the round table, issues of formation and development of the new economic belt of the Silk Road in the foreshortening of modern geopolitical realities were examined. Also, participants of the round table discussed the theoretical foundations and concepts used by the Chinese scientists in the development of this international project. A high level of theory was noted that could be transformed into concrete practical proposals used in the territories of Central Asian countries, including in Kazakhstan. At the round table, possible ways and scenarios for the development of EPSS aimed at preserving Kazakhstan's national security were discussed.
