Kazakh National University. al-Farabi headed the rating of the best universities in Kazakhstan

The Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (NAAR) determined the best universities in Kazakhstan. In this rating the first position was taken by the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, who scored the highest score. The second and third places are the Eurasian National University. LN Gumilev and South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov.

The competitiveness of a higher educational institution is estimated today by its reputation and rating in national and international markets for educational services, which ultimately shapes its attractiveness and relevance.

The national rating of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency allows Kazakh universities to assess the level of competitiveness of educational services, promote high-quality work of the university, and, most importantly, attract more students and expand the scope of attractiveness for employers.

The rating of Kazakhstani universities is estimated by NAAR from 2014 and is a list of the best universities in Kazakhstan. When assessing the activity of universities, several criteria are considered that determine the concentration of talented students, teachers and researchers. The level of academic mobility of students and faculty, the high level of interaction between the university and employers, the quality of training and employment of graduates and the competitiveness of scientific publications of scientists and students are also assessed.

It should be noted that the National rating of NAAR is recognized by the public as a tool to increase the competitiveness of universities, contributing to the growth of the export potential of educational services, the main resource that guides students in choosing the future direction of personal development.

The application for participation in the National rating of the NAAR was presented by 75 universities of the republic, however, 58 universities, including 6 national, 21 state, 7 joint-stock and 24 private educational organizations, entered the general rating of the RK-2018.
