Davletov Askar

Davletov Askar - doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor, born in 1974. Graduated with honors in 1996 bachelor's degree, and in 1998 and master's degree in physics at the specialty "Physics and Chemistry of Plasma". In the same year he entered full-time postgraduate study at the Department of Optics and Plasma Physics of the Kazakh State National University al-Farabi specializing in plasma physics. Davletov A.E. works as a research associate of the IETP KazNU named after al-Farabi since 1993, having passed all the steps from a junior researcher to the chief researcher and the head of scientific topics funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2001 he defended his thesis on the topic "Thermodynamic properties of the quasiclassical two-component plasma", specializing in 01.04.08-plasma physics. In 2009 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Pseudopotential theory of static and dynamic properties of plasma" on the specialty 01.04.08-physics of plasma. Davletov A.E. is a highly qualified specialist in the field of physics of non-ideal plasma and one of the scientists highly cited abroad, has over 100 scientific publications, of which more than 20 in foreign journals with high impact factor. Three-time holder of the state scholarship of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for talented young scientists, the best teacher of KazNU 2009. Davletov A.E. conducts active teaching activities at the faculty, conducts seminars and laboratory classes, including in English, on general subjects such as "Electricity and Magnetism", "Fundamentals of Atomic Physics", and also gives lectures on courses: "Atomic Physics", " "Basics of Plasma Physics", "Electricity and Magnetism" and a number of others. From 2005 to 2008 he held the position of deputy head of the Department of Optics and Plasma Physics. Since 2009, Davletov A.E. is the scientific leader of the national team of schoolchildren of the Republic of Kazakhstan for participation in international olympiads in physics, a member of the jury of republican and international olympiads, a member of the organizing committee of a number of international conferences. June 2, 2012 by order of the rector Mutanov G.M. appointed as the dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology.
