Master student is awarded a Diploma with
an academic degree - Master of Natural
Science
Attendance: full-time, part-time with distance learning component, off-campus in
regions. Teaching is available in three languages.
Teaching is available in four educational tracks:
1. Radiation dosimetry in External Beam Radiation Therapy.
Dosage
measurement.
2. X-ray therapy – External Beam Distant Radiation
Therapy. Equipment for therapy and visualization. Modes of working.
3.
Planning of
External Beam Radiation Therapy procedures.
4.
Brachytherapy.
Quality assurance. Acceptance trials. Quality control. Planning of procedures.
Mandatory topics for all tracks:
1.Introduction
to clinical practice. Basic understanding of clinical aspects of radiobiology.
Basic knowledge in cancer and radiation oncology. Anatomy.
2. Radiological security
and safety. Modes. Safety of sources. Principles of radiological protection.
3. Professional
studies and quality management.
Educational Program «Medical-prophylactic business»
The program is accredited by the international accreditation agency ASIIN, included in the National Register of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Study level: Magistracy - profile direction (1-1,5 year), scientific-pedagogical (2 years )
Exams: Foreign language (test), entrance examination in the specialty (in written form)
Form of study: Full-time, mixed with a remote component, with the departure to the regions. Training is conducted in 3 languages.
Requirements for admission: basic medical education.
Upon graduation, the graduate is awarded a Diploma with an academic degree - Master of Public Health, Master of Medical Science.
Training is conducted on 2 trajectories:
1. Hygiene.
2. Epidemiology.
Summary of the program: Legislation in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, epidemiology of infections associated with providing medical care, biosafety and biosecurity, immunization of infectious and non-infectious diseases, sanitary and epidemiological surveillance of product safety, hygienic assessment of quality and safety of goods.
