On November 10-11, 2018, in the sports complex of KazNU, competitions were held - the Championship of Almaty among youth under 23 years old in sambo wrestling. They were attended by 164 athletes representing 8 city teams.

Worthy were the students and students of our university, showing their high skill.

In the weight category 60 kg Sakhimova Aigerim - a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, took the first place.

Zhumadilla Aigerim - 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Health, in the weight category of 64 kg - I place.

In the weight category of 68 kg: Nusip Ainur - I place, 4th year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Health.

In the weight category of 72 kg: Kaliyeva Tiana - I place, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management.

Akylbay Nazerke - I place in the weight category of 80 kg, 1st year student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.
