April 5-10, 2018 "I Sports Games of Association of Universities of the Turkic Council" was held in Baku (Azerbaijan). Competitions were held in the following sports: chess (men, women), table tennis (men, women), volleyball (men, women), judo (men, women), futsal, Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling - men.
Students of KazNU named after al-Farabi and teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Medical Faculty took part in competitions in judo and chess.
