At the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, the international school "Kazakh language is the language of international communication" was held in the framework of the International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Farabi alemi".

The international school "Kazakh language is the language of international communication" is organized by the Language and General Education Department of Foreigners and the Resource Center for Talented Education in cooperation with the Moscow State Linguistic University (Russia) with the support of Foundation of First President-Republic of Kazakhstan-Elbasy.

The international school of the Kazakh language is conducted with the purpose of popularization of Kazakh language in the world, as well as the dissemination of the experience of the methodical school of teaching Kazakh as a foreign language in the department of language and general education of foreigners.

Participants of the international school "Kazakh language is the language of international communication" are regional students of the Institute of Socio-Political Sciences of the Moscow State Linguistic University (Russia), where for 15 years the Kazakh language has been taught as a second language in the Kazakh Language and Culture Center, as well as students of the faculty of pre-university education.

Within the framework of the school, master classes were held on the methodology of teaching Kazakh as a foreign language by the leading teachers of department, field studies in the history, culture and geography of Kazakhstan, meetings with students of the faculty of pre-university education studying the Kazakh language.

Russian students took an interest in the work of the school and were able to demonstrate their success in studying the Kazakh language. Students from Russia, Korea, and Japan talked in Kazakh, sang songs and shared their impressions about Kazakhstan.

Tatyana Semyonova noted that she attended the master classes of teachers with great enthusiasm, which were very interesting and useful. Bobina Arina shared her dream of working after a university in Kazakhstan. Serh Sargsyan is very fond of Almaty and is sure that she will often come to Kazakhstan. All participants noted that there was a very interesting program of the school, which allowed to improve their knowledge of the Kazakh language and to discover Kazakhstan in a new way.

Coordinator of the school "Kazakh language is the language of international communication" Director of the Resource Center for Multilingual Education doctor of philology Musabekova U.E. expressed the hope that the holding of the school will become traditional, as interest to learning the Kazakh language in the world grows every year, new centers abroad are opened.
