Meeting of teachers, veterans of the Republic of Kazakhstan's Armed Forces with students of the 1st year studying in the specialty "Meteorology"
November 8, 2017 on the plan for holding educational and patriotic events by the Military Department of Al-Farabi KazNU, a meeting of teachers, veterans of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s Armed Forces with students of the 1st year studying in the specialty "Meteorology" at the Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences was organized.
During the excursion the students get acquainted with the educational-material base of the department, visited the personal audiences of Kazakhstan's folk heroes B. Momyshuly and S. Nurmagambetov, the room of military-patriotic work, practically completed the exercises of shooting from small arms in an interactive laser shooting range. They examined the audience where they were presented with specialized workplaces, meteorological instruments used in the meteorological divisions of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The majority of first-year students expressed a strong desire to enter and study at the military department.
