CONFERENCE “MODERNIZATION OF LANGUAGE: REQUIREMENT OF TIME”

XVIII Akhanov readings devoted

to the anniversary of Kazakh khanate  

which will be held on May 29^th and 30^th, 2015

THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS ARE OFFERED FOR THE DISCUSSION:

1. Modernization of language: internal structure
2. Modernization of language and modernization of society
3. Modernization of language and new technologies in language teaching
4. Modernization of language and its reflection in lexicographic sources

Working languages of the conference: Kazakh, Russian, English

Please, attach the materials (up to 5 pages) in electronic version and in paper (Times New Roman font, 14 font size), other encodings of Kazakh, Russian and English will not be accepted.

PAPER FORMAT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The title should be on the top centre (capital letters, bold font, font size: 14)
2. One space below in the centre name and surname of the author should be written (lowercase letters, bold font, font size: 10)
3. Under the surname – the sending organization, city, country in brackets (lowercase letters, font size: 10)
4. Below – e-mail address (in italics, font size: 10)
5. Article summary in 5-7 sentences in the language of article, the Russian and English language (size 11);
6. Key words in the language of article, Russian and English (no more than 5 words, lower case letters, italics, font size 10);
7. Margins: upper and lower, right and left – 20 mm, portrait orientation
8. Spacing: single
9. Drafting the list of used literature according to the sample:

References in the text are shown in the following way: [1: 23], where 1 – author's name, 23 – page; there is a colon between the number indicating author’s name and page number.

Registration fee in the amount of 4000 tenge is accepted with the report till April 30^th, 2015. The registration fee can be paid without transfer (personally) or sent only via post transfer to: al-Farabi KazNU, Faculty of Philology, Literary Studies and World Languages, Chair of General Linguistics and Foreign Philology, room 305a, 317, Karagoishiyeva Danel Almasbekovna.

Please, send the scanned receipt on payment of the registration fee to: danel.karagoish@mail.ru.

The publication of the materials is planned to have been held by the beginning of the conference. Forwarding of the conference materials is not included in the registration fee.

ATTENTION: unless the requirements specified in the information letter are followed, the materials will be rejected.

All expenses connected with the participation in the conference must be covered by the participants.
