April 6-7, 2017  the final round of the Republican Olympiad "al-Farabi" for schoolchildren was held. In the section "Russian Language and Literature" 4 finalists took part. According to the results of the Olympiad, Kusainova Lyazzat (Kokchetav) took the first place, 2nd - Sychev Alena (Almaty), 3rd - Kim Xenia (Pavlodar). The members of the commission were teachers of the Department of Russian Philology, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Abaeva Zh.S. аnd Ph.D., associate professor Sarsekeeva N.K.
