On November 9, 2016 teachers of the Foreign Languages Department ​A.Shayakhmet and G.Almabaeva held the educational cultural event «Thanksgiving Day» under the program "Айналаңды нұрландыр!" Second, third, and fourth year students of the Oriental Studies Faculty practiced their language skills, recited poetry, and took parts in role-playing scenes in English, showed their cultural knowledge, as well as cooperation and capability to help people.
