Chess is a sport for intellectualsThe Treasury im№ Al-Farabi was the traditional 70th interuniversity Olympiad among students of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi. Chess tournament among the faculties was held on April 3-6. Judge was the first master of sports, honored coach of Kazakhstan Almaty, National Championship judge of the highest category and a multiple winner of several international competitions, graduate of the Kazakh State University, chess king Aristarkhovich Anatoly Noskov. 9 teams took part in the tournament. In the finals there were 5 teams. 3 teams take pride of place: 1st place - Higher School of Economics and Business, the 2nd place - Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, 3rd place went to the team of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. We would like to thank the organizers of the contest.
