PSYCHOLOGISTS of KAZAKHSTAN, GERMANY, RUSSIA  and BELARUS DISCUSSED the TOPICAL THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ISSUES of MODERN PSYCHOLOGY

 7 December 2018 hosted an international scientific-practical conference "PSYCHOLOGY IN the MODERN WORLD: THEORETICAL AND APPLIED RESEARCH IN the CONTEXT of the PROGRAM "ROUHANI ZHANGYRU", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the discovery of psychology Department in KazNU named after al-Farabi..

The conference, organized by the Department of General and Applied Psychology of KazNU, became a platform to discuss the role of psychological science in the spiritual renewal of Kazakhstan, the development of fundamental and applied research in psychology, forms of interaction of science and practice, the prospects of development of integration processes in psychological science in modern conditions, the contribution of Kazakh psychologists in the world science, the state and prospects of international cooperation, topical problems of different branches of psychology. The conference was attended by scientists, teachers, psychologists, undergraduates, doctoral students, University students, specialists in related disciplines: teachers, social workers, philosophers, cultural scientists.

Great interest in the conference showed graduates of the psychological Department of KazNU of different years, who have already reached the heights in their professional activities.  For 30 years since the opening of the specialty, more than 1500 graduates (bachelor, master, doctoral) have received a start in their working life .Today KazNU, according to the Independent Agency of accreditation and rating, takes the 1st place among the Universities of Kazakhstan in the specialty "Psychology", the specialty is also accredited in the international Agency ACQUIN.

At the plenary meeting of the Ph.D C. Reschke,PhD A. Garber from Germany, doctor of psychology. Yanchuk from the Belarusian state University, Professor of psychology of Kazakhstan N. V. Zharikbayev presented interesting reports on the fundamental and applied psychology: cultural and dialogue trends in the development of psychological knowledge, stress resistance, the contribution of psychological science and practice in the spiritual revival of the national consciousness of the people of Kazakhstan. At the breakout sessions were discussed reports on the psychological health and well-being of the individual as a factor of spiritual revival, organization and technology of psychological assistance in modern conditions, training and education of psychologists, as well as many other problems of fundamental and applied psychological research.

On October 17, 2018 at 14.00pm for undergraduates of the 1st course of Department of Philosophy and Political Science and Oriental Studies in the project's boundaries “Cult of a Healthy Body” was held an educational event "The psychological profile of Kazakhstan suicide" dedicated to the World Mental Health Day. Organizers: Professor of the Department of General and Applied Psychology - O. Kh. Aymaganbetova, Associate Professor of the Department Z. M. Sadvakasova. 

On October 11, 2018, within the framework of Project " Brighten around ", an educational event with international participation with а colleague from France Nina Ryckewaert, a Doctor of Psychology, a Neuropsychologist of the Department of adult Poly-disability Association Cazin-Perrochaud, was held in the form of a round table on the topic: «Psychological volunteers in various institutions:

features of work and problems». This event is addressed to students of helping specialties of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Al-Farabi KazNU

The roundtable was attended by students of psychology 1 st, 2 nd, 4 th course, teachers of the department, a graduate-employer Maul Tatiana, is the Director of the Center for Rehabilitation of Human Bioplasma.

The following questions were discussed at the round table: where (in which institutions, organizations) and in what form psychology students can help as volunteers.

It is known that a volunteer is a person voluntarily engaged in socially useful activities free of charge. He helps the elderly, people with disabilities, children with special educational needs, families and individuals in difficult life situations. In particular, our guest Nina Ryckewaert told about the help that psychology volunteers can provide in France.

Next, a graduate of the specialty "Psychology", and now the employer Tatiana Maul told about work of the Center and offered to cooperate with the Department of General and Applied Psychology, with volunteers.

In conclusion, the students were asked to create an association (union) of faculty volunteers and begin practical work, help.

Professor of the Department of General and Applied Psychology NK Toksanbaeva conducted a training on the topic "Healthy person - the most valuable product of nature" on the ice skating rink Medeo. During the training, such games as "Applications", "Associations", "Form", "Handicap", "Train" were held. Ice skating was also good for health. On April 7, 2017, from 7 pm to 10 pm, an educational event was held in the form of a seminar-training entitled "Components of success for every day!" in the dormitory No. 9 in the framework of the "Ainalandy nurlandyr" project.

The main issues of the seminar were: improving of memory efficiency, developing leadership skills, increasing self-esteem and mastering the methods of time management. Participants were offered various techniques of mnemotechnics for memory improving, practical tasks on time management, which all participants coped wellwith.

Januar 10, 2017 under the "Aynalandy nurlandyr" project held an educational event "Creative way of personality", devoted to creativity Batyrkhan Shukenov. The event was held in Esentai Mall (2nd floor), within the framework of the photo exhibition. The event was attended by students 2st and 3nd courses specialty "Psychology", which met with personal belongings and photographs, reflecting the work of the famous Kazakh composer and singer Batyrkhan Shukenov.

In December, 2016 in the  №9 Students house was held a meeting of students and professors of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science with experts from the Kazakh Academy of Nutrition and medical students. The event was held within the project "The cult of healthy body."

This was not only an interesting informative lecture, but guests also analyzed the eating behavior and preferences of students, gave useful advices and recomendations. For example, the recommendation about what is important to add into students' diet with intellectual work load, how to calculate your own weight, etc.

On 9th of November the department of general and applied psychology organized an action called "Charity fair for children's home" based on program "Ainalangdy nurlandyr". All means from action was sent to the fund of children's home "White hope".
