The faculty of geography and environmental management of the Kazakh national university it once again organized al-Farabi and carried out on April 23, 2015 professional orientation work in on-line mode. Graduates of 16 schools from different regions of Kazakhstan took part in conference: Almaty, Southern Kazakhstan, Zhambylsky, West Kazakhstan areas, and also from the cities of Zharkent, Issyk, Talgar, Atyrau, etc.In the course of carrying out professional orientation work the trained received full information on leading university of the country – KazNU of al-Farabi, about amount of specialties on which preparation at university is conducted. More detailed information was provided about specialties of faculty of geography and environmental management. Presentations and videos about specialties of faculty were presented to graduates of schools to operating time of online conference. The deputy dean of faculty Asylbekova Ayzhan Asylbekovna handled welcome speech to graduates of schools of Kazakhstan. Took part in conference the head of the department of recreational geography and tourism Artemyev A.M., доц. Departments of meteorology and Nysanbayev A.S. hydrology., professor of department of cartography and geoinformatics Kshim A.G.Carrying out professional orientation work in on-line mode became tradition at faculty of geography and environmental management thanks to the associate professor of recreational geography and tourism Zhakupova A.A., which is an initiator such the virtulnykh of meetings with graduates of schools. In 2014-2015 academic year it already the 15th meeting with graduates of schools in the virtual mode. For the specified period over 110 schools of Kazakhstan participated in online professional orientation meetings of chair. Professional orientation work in the on-line mode is considered the best option for the organization of high-quality communication at distance, allows to receive real-life communication with the graduates of schools who are in various regions of Kazakhstan, simplifies communication process, doing it fast, productive and productive.
