International scientific conference of students and young scientists "Farabi reading" on the Meteorology section takes place on April 10, 2017 at the department of meteorology and hydrology. On the Meteorology section works of  2, 3 and 4 courses students, also 1 and 2 courses masters of the russian and kazakh offices have been declared.

By results of performances, the Contest committee has awarded the following students:
