Collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Valencia to train bachelor-ecologists

The overseas internship for developers of the undergraduate program “Ecology” in English in the specialty 5B060800 - “Ecology” was held from June 30 to July 10, 2018 at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Valencia, Spain).

The purpose of the trip is to advise on the development of an educational program and advanced training for the course "Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) / Evaluation of Impact on the Environmental Environment (EIA)".

Together with me on a business trip were colleagues at the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi - deputy. Head UNESCO Chair in Sustainable Development in Education, and. about. Associate Professor Tanybaeva AK and PhD doctoral candidate Rysmagambetova AA

We made a presentation of the new educational program “Ecology”, discussed the structure and content of the disciplines of the curriculum modules (GUP) with foreign colleagues: Vice-Rector for Science, Innovation and Technology Transfer, Professor Jose E.Capilla Roma, Associate Professor, Dr. Javier Rodrigo-Ilarri, as well as Dr. Claudia N. Romero, specializing in His-technology and other scientists from the Institute for Water and Environmental Studies of the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

The focus of questions on advanced training is a review of the environmental impact assessment of European industrial enterprises, the adoption of specific decisions and the preparation of EIA documentation. Training took place in the format of presentations, worked with project documentation, reports of industrial facilities, classes were held interactively, solved situational problems.

During a working visit to the UPV branch office on the Candia campus, a meeting was held with the head of the international relations office Michaela Muszynski, scientists and teachers, providing bachelor's degrees in environmental science.

We met with:

- The curriculum on the specialty "Environmental Science", BSc, conducted a comparative analysis of the disciplines and the number of credits with the developed PMO "Ecology";

- training and production base for environmental training, laboratory research and equipment, discussed how best to conduct practical training of students.

We learned a lot of useful and new things during our stay at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, outlined prospects for further cooperation, including in the field of double-diploma education.
