Academic mobility and internships

During the research internship 1st year Ph.D. student of the specialty 8D05306-Physics of the Department of "Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology and Computer Physics" Ashirbek Azamat took part in the 5th International Symposium on Plasma Chemistry (ISPC25) in Kyoto (Japan) with a poster presentation on the collective motion of microdischarges under the action of natural flow from May 21 to 26, 2023.
From July 8 to July 15, 2023, the first-year Ph.D. student of the Department of Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology and Computer Physics, specialty 8D07112-Nanomaterials, and Nanotechnology Usenkhan Sultan took part in the International Conference on Phenomena in Ionized Gases (ICPIG XXXV), which was held in the Netherlands.
From May 19 to August 15 (2023 year), Ashirbek Azamat, PhD student in the 1st year of specialty "8D05306 - Physics" underwent a research internship in Osaka, Japan. The internship took place in the laboratory in the Department of Materials Science and Production Science of Osaka University under the guidance of a foreign supervisor Prof. Satoshi Hamaguchi. During the research internship, he performed numerical simulations of dielectric barrier discharge to understand the transport properties of electrons and ions in atmospheric pressure plasma using the Comsol Multiphysics computer program. He also participated in the ISPC25 conference in Kyoto with a poster presentation on the Collective Motion of Microdischarges under Natural Flow during his research internship.
Students of the Department of Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology and Computer Physics, who became winners at Olympiads, conferences at the International Summer School "KIT Electronics Summer School 2023".

 

2-year doctoral student of the specialty “6D011000 - Physics”, Faculty of physics and technology, Department of plasma physics, nanotechnology and computer physics Әkіmkhanova Zhuldyzay at a foreign scientific internship in Torun (Poland) from 01/13/2020 to 03/05/2020.

  Master students of the 2nd course of the specialty "6M071800-Electric Power Engineering" Nurlanbekuly Ertugan, Igibaev Zhanbolat, Maxim Kosilov are studying at the National Research University "MPEI" (Moscow, Russia) by the double diploma program from 02.09.2019 to 05.31.2020.

Sadvokasova Shynar, Absattarova Gulzhan, Maukenov Alibek, Akhmetkhanov Almaty 2-year graduate student of the specialty 6M074000 - Nanomaterials and nanotechnology, Department of plasma physics, nanotechnology and computer physics, faculty of physics and technology took part in the International conference on (Applied nanotechnology and nanoscience international conference (Annic19, Paris, France 11/18/2019 - 11/28/2019).

Doctoral student of the specialty "6D060500-Nuclear physics" of the faculty of physics and technology, department of plasma physics, nanotechnology and computer physics Moldabekov Zhangali Musyrmankulovich on a foreign scientific internship on the topic "Plasma diagnostics at the Plasma focus device" in Moscow (Russia) from 29.11.2019 to 30.12.2019.

2-year doctoral student of the specialty “6D072300 - Technical Physics”, Faculty of physics and technology, Department of plasma physics, nanotechnology and computer physics Tazhen Әigerim at a scientific internship in Frankfurt am Main ( Germany) in the period from 20/10/2019 - 30/12/2019.
From November 18 to November 27, 2019, at the Department of Plasma Physics of the LaPlase Institute in Moscow, Russia, 4 undergraduates from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University completed an internship. During the internship, student interns took part in relevant research projects under the guidance of experienced mentors - employees of the department. It should be noted that the experience, knowledge and results obtained during the implementation of the project will be reflected in the master's graduate work.

Master students of the 2nd course Alpys Daulet in participated in the international scientific conference on nanotechnologies "NANOTECH EURASIA - 2019", which was held in Baku, Azerbaijan on October 3-4, 2019. Article subject: Vacuum-plasma method for producing nanocoating.

  From July 1, 2019 to July 12, 2019, a 2-year undergraduate student in the specialty "Physics Ed." G. Yusupova underwent an internship at ITMO University in the training module "Principles of Automation and Control in Educational Systems" (St. Petersburg, Russia).
