Administrative Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is the structural division of Kazakh National University working in accordance with the University Charter.
The main functions of the Department:
1.Coordination of activities of directors of departments, divisions and other units of the University on the implementation of programs, tasks and assignments set by the rector;
2. Considering internal regulations in terms of compliance with the laws of the Republic of KZ;
3. Development of basic internal regulations of the activities of the structural divisions of the University;
4.Protection of the legal interests of the University in the court and other law enforcement agencies, control of execution of court decisions;
5.Realization of basic principles of personnel policy, the definition of the structure and staffing requirements, a qualitative analysis of the composition and movement of personnel, provision of conditions and organization of qualification increase, functional analysis and labour quota setting;
6.Development of measures to raise labor and executive discipline, maintenance of professional and career growth of employees of the University; development of the effective mechanism of social and legal protection of the faculty staff and student groups of the University;
7.Participation inpreparation of draft orders, rector’s orders, projects, programs, conceptions and forecasts, in the development and review of these documents on the basis of the information timely received from all departments of the University;
8. Organization and doingclerical work, storing documentation of structural subdivisions of the University;

9. Implementation of protocol events, documentation, preparation and organization of other activities on the instructions of the rector.
