    Performing sientific  research

    In 2022 year university scientists carried out 305 research projects:

   • 27 projects within grant funding of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for young scientists for 2020-2022;

   • 38 projects within program and target funding of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2022 with period implementation of 27 months;

   • 30 projects within grant funding of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for young scientists for 2021-2023;

     49 projects within grant funding of Ministry of Education and Sciense of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021-2023 with period implementation of 36 months;

   • 1 project within the framework of program-targeted financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021-2023;

     1 project under grant funding from the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovative and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2022;

     7 projects within the framework of grant funding of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for young scientists for 2022-2024;

     47 projects under the grant funding of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2024 with an implementation period of 30 months;

     49 projects within the framework of grant financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of young scientists "Zhas Galym" for 2022-2024;

     1 projects of JSC "Science Fund";

     13 research works within the framework of economic contracts with organizations and enterprises;

     42 joint international projects.

International grants, internships

 In 2022  al-Farabi Kazakh National University scientists received 189 grants from international funds and organizations. The number of grants awarded for joint international projects is 42, 24 of which are in the social and humanitarian sciences field and 18 are in the natural and technical sciences field.

In 2022 scientists and faculty members received 27 grants for internships, 105 people received further training at leading foreign universities and scientific institutions. Scientific internships were granted financial support from foreign organizations and funds and within the framework of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan grant projects. The number of the countries available for internships is increasing - Germany, the USA, the UK, France, Turkey, South Korea, China, Japan, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, etc.
