From October 17 to December 30, 2018, the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy holds an annual competition for awards in the field of science, culture and art.

The Prize of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy is awarded in various nominations in the fields of science and art once a year in order to support the talented Kazakhstani youth:

• For the best scientific research and achievements in the field of science and technology of young scientists of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• For new and original works, programs, projects in the field of culture and art of young figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Young scholars and cultural and art workers under the age of 40 can take part in the competition for the award. Authors of works and projects put forward for the Foundation’s prizes should be citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who have made a significant contribution to the scientific and cultural life of the country.

The prize is awarded in the following nominations:

• science and technology – physics, mathematics, engineering, ecology, earth sciences, agricultural sciences, chemistry, technology, technical sciences, medicine and biology, social sciences and humanities, about the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy in the creation and establishment of an independent Kazakhstan;
• culture and art – musical art, theater, visual arts, cinematography, journalism (radio, television, print), choreographic art, variety and circus art, museum work, architecture and design.

The winners of the competition are awarded the title «Laureate of the Prize of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy», awarded with a diploma, a badge and a money prize.
